As a Body Repair Technician II, you will be essential in performing intermediate to advanced-level repairs on motorcoaches. This role requires not only technical expertise but also a keen eye for detail, ensuring all repairs adhere to safety protocols and quality standards. Your Responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will:
• Execute the removal and replacement of various components, including:
• Body panels for structural integrity and aesthetics.
• Body accessories that enhance functionality and appearance.
• Seating components ensuring comfort and safety for passengers.
• Mirrors crucial for safe driving and navigation.
• Light assemblies for compliance with visibility and safety regulations.
• Utilize and proficiently operate essential tools and equipment for repair tasks, including:
• Sanders for finishing surfaces and preparing for repairs.
• Grinders for re-shaping metal parts.
• Standard fastening and hand tools for effective assembly.
• Support the Body Repair Technician I in skilled tasks, fostering teamwork and enhancing your skills.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Experience in heavy-duty vehicle or motorcoach body repair.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in body repair and mechanical work on automotive, bus, or coach systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and repair techniques.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively on a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
