Boilermakers
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Boilermakers, for exciting upcoming projects across various regions in Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Read and evaluate drawings and blueprints to determine specific job requirements.
Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry work out safely.
Complete products by washing, cleaning, chiselling, grinding, and filing.
General Boilermaker duties including use of; grinding, cutting (friction and Gas cutting), welding
(GMAW, TIG, stick), polishing, Cropping, Pressing, Heat Treatment and Stress Relieving of Steels.
Straighten or reshape bent pressure vessel plates and structure parts, using hammers, jacks, and torches.
Join metal sections and structures together using welding, bolting, or riveting methods.
Bolt or arc-weld pressure vessel structures and parts together, using wrenches and welding equipment.
About You
Minimum 2 years’ proven experience within relevant discipline
Hold a Boilermaker Trade Certificate
Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and ******* screen.
What We Offer
Competitive hourly rates of pay ranging between $41.00 - $60.76 (qualification/experience and project dependent).
Standard working week of 42.5 – 50 hours, working 8.5 - 10 hours per day with additional penalty rates offered for overtime, weekend and public holiday work (site and project dependent).
