Job Summary :We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the databases that support our fixed asset trading platform, ensuring that they are secure, reliable, and scalable.Key Responsibilities :1. Manage and maintain the databases that support the fixed asset trading platform, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.2. Design and implement database solutions that meet the needs of the business, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integration.3. Monitor the performance of the databases and optimize as needed to ensure that they are running efficiently and effectively.4. Implement and maintain database security, including access controls, backup and recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.5. Participate in the development and testing of new features and functionality, ensuring that the databases are integrated into the overall platform.6 Troubleshoot and resolve any database issues, working with the development and QA teams as needed.7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in database technology, and recommend new approaches and technologies as needed.8. Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, backup and recovery plans, and disaster recovery procedures.Qualifications :1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field2. 5-10 years of experience as a Database Administrator, managing databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.3. Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation.4. Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex database concepts to non-technical stakeholders
