Bookings Coordinator

Southern Cross Brightside Hospital in Epsom, Auckland has 33 in-patient beds and 6 day-stay chairs. Surgical specialities include Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology.

Our hospital features an intermediate care facility, a specialised post-operative ward for patients with medical conditions or surgical issues that require an enhanced level of monitoring and care. The beds are equipped to support invasive monitoring, medical infusions, and a 24-hour monitoring service, with specialised nurses with the knowledge and skills to deliver a more sophisticated level of care as required. 

Credentialled practitioners and their patients have access to four advanced operating theatres, with special features such as a visual/digital theatre, laminar flow and state-of-the-art theatre equipment. Each of these theatres is supported by the latest sterilisation and anaesthetic technologies and systems.

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We are looking for a Bookings Coordinator at our Brightside Hospital – this role is part-time, working 0.6 FTE. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks that are required to ensure accurate and efficient entry of patient surgical bookings.

Good Administration skills and experience
Experience working in front line customer service and communication
Experience working within healthcare administration preferred
Comfortable with Microsoft office suite
