Job Description
Confirm clients have received invoices and follow up to ensure timely payment.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to client billing.
Receive and record customer payments in the accounting system (QuickBooks Online).
Maintain accurate and organized digital records of transactions.
Coordinate with Project Managers and other departments to confirm billable work and resolve invoicing issues.
Prepare AR reports and aging summaries as required by management.
Assist in implementing financial process improvements to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
Certificate or diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
Intermediate Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or other accounting software.
Basic understanding of Canadian AR practices and basic financial procedures.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently.
Pay: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
