Job Description
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including recording transactions, verifying and reconciling balances, and generating financial reports.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments to vendors and suppliers.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Use of popular software used for Australian tax, specifically Xero
Preferred: Management, training, review experience, daily Australian client collaboration.
Important Skill Set:
Technical Accounting/Bookkeeping skills
Australian KPO experience is preferred
Prior experience in managing a small team is preferred
Spoken and written English communication skills are preferred
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with popular software used for Australian bookkeeping, specifically XERO, MYOB, NetSuite and/or QuickBooks Online
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
Semi-Qualified CA/CS/ICWA
Qualified CA/CS/ICWA
