Job Description
This role requires a highly skilled Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations team.
You will be working closely with our leadership team to ensure our financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
• Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
• Process payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
• Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
• Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
• Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
