Bookkeeper – New World Waihi

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our awesome team at New World Waihi.

Location – 35 Kenny Street Waihi

Job Type - Full Time

Duration- Permanent

Minimum guaranteed hours – 40 hours per week

Salary - $34 - $35/hour

Key responsibilities:

Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration, including, maintaining and balancing accounts.

Generating and sending invoices and purchase orders.

Deposit daily cash receipts in the bank.

Chasing outstanding payments and outstanding credit lines extended.

Bank reconciliation and accounts management using SAP and monthly bank statements.

Entering and maintaining financial and customer data in SAP.

Submit monthly financial reports and statements along with analyses of the reports to assist the owner to determine the health of the business and reporting any irregularities.

Prepare necessary reports to determine tax entitlement and GST payable.

General accounts support and admin tasks as needed.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

At least three years of relevant work experience.

Solid bookkeeping and accounts knowledge.

Experience following up on overdue accounts.

Great attention to detail and accuracy.

Confident communicator with a professional approach.

Ability to work independently and manage time.

Contribute positively to the team.

Ability to work on weekends.
