Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant Orbis Group — White Rock, BC We've been doing cladding and glazing across Western Canada since 2007 — ACM facades, curtain walls, building envelope systems on residential and commercial projects. Small team, lots of moving parts. We need someone reliable to take ownership of the books and help keep the office running. This role is mostly bookkeeping with some admin work mixed in. You'd be working directly with our CEO out of the White Rock office. **The bookkeeping side:** - Full-cycle books on QuickBooks Online (or Xero — whichever you prefer) - AP/AR, paying subcontractors and vendors - Job costing, since we run multiple projects at once - Monthly reconciliations and close - GST, PST, WCB filings - Working with our external accountant when needed **The admin side:** - Managing the CEO's calendar and emails - Talking to suppliers, subs, and clients when needed - Prepping contracts, change orders, project paperwork - Keeping track of insurance certificates and compliance docs **One thing we care about a lot — AI tools.** We use Claude and ChatGPT every day and we want someone who does the same. Not just "I've heard of it" — we mean you're actually using these tools to draft emails, summarize documents, automate stuff that shouldn't take an hour anymore. If you're already doing this, we'll get along great. If you're not, this probably isn't the right fit. **About you:** - Couple years of bookkeeping experience minimum - Construction or trades background is a big plus - Comfortable working independently — we're not going to micromanage you - Solid written English **To apply:** Email your resume to **[your email]** and tell us one or two AI tools you use and how.
