We’re a fast-growing mechanical company specializing in plumbing and all things HVAC. Our team is built on hard work, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. As we grow, we’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented "Bookkeeper" to join our in-house team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks of the company. This is a full-time, in-office position best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working independently, and brings accuracy and organization to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities;

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Reconcile bank and credit card statements

- Process payroll and maintain employee records related to payroll

- Track and manage expenses, receipts, and company credit card usage

- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting

- Maintain and organize accounting records in accordance with CRA requirements

- Coordinate with external accountants and vendors as needed

- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning

- Assist with year-end procedures and audits

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (experience in the trades or construction industry is a plus)

- Proficient in QuickBooks (preferably QuickBooks Online)

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices

- Experience with payroll processing

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Excellent communication skills
