As Driven Equipment Ltd continues to GROW we are seeking skilled Bookkeeper/Administrator to become part of our growing team.

Founded in 2019, Driven Equipment Ltd is locally owned and operated servicing all of Western Canada specializing in heavy equipment sales, service, and rentals. Overview:
This position will start as a part-time 3 days/week, which will lead into a full-time, permanent role based at our Calgary office, offering a blended approach to accounting, human resources, and office administration. Primary responsibilities of this role is financial administration, including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintaining employee records, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements.
Job Duties:
· Maintaining bank accounts categorizing transactions, reconciling bank accounts on a regular basis.
· Accounts payable including inputting invoices and expenses in QuickBooks, payments, purchase orders, communicating with and establishing lines of credit with vendors, ensuring all invoices and expenses are accurately coded in a timely manner.
· Accounts receivable including creating invoices, collections, accurately coding invoices in QuickBooks.
· Payroll processing, including generating time sheets, entering data into payroll software, and getting sign off on payroll before processing.
· Support operations by assisting with scheduling of flights and transportation, accommodations and event planning.
· Collection of receivables, reviewing vendor invoices and monitoring due dates for payments, full-cycle accounting/bookkeeping duties in QuickBooks.
· Quarterly GST remittances and WCB.
· Collaboration on development of processes and systems related to core responsibilities.
· General office administration including handling mail, answering phones, and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 2+ years of relevant work experience in a professional environment; effective time management and detailed-oriented.
· Completion of an accounting diploma/certificate or equivalent post-secondary program is an asset.
· Solid knowledge of the accounting cycle, fast and accurate data entry, and a natural comfort with managing and interpreting data.
· Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy; keen sense of urgency.
· Strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity; well organized and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Heavy equipment rentals and service industry experience is an asset.
· Proficiency in software such as QuickBooks online.
Work Schedule:
· 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; Monday, Wednesday & Friday (leading into full time as company scales)
· $25.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience (Expected hours 24 per week)
· Yearly Bonus Pay.
