Overview
Looking to get your foot in the door in Ottawa’s nightlife scene? Sky Lounge is hiring Bottle Helpers to support our bottle service team and help deliver a high energy guest experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys nightlife, works well in a fast paced environment, and is comfortable helping create a fun and professional atmosphere.
Duties
Assist servers and bartenders with bottle service during events and busy shifts
Deliver bottles, mixes, ice, glassware, and other service items to tables quickly and accurately
Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked throughout the night
Help prepare tables and booths for guest arrivals
Clear empty bottles, glassware, and used items from tables in a timely manner
Support the team in maintaining a high standard of guest service
Monitor table needs and communicate with servers, bartenders, and management
Help maintain the energy and appearance of the venue during service
Assist with venue setup, cleanup, and closing duties as required
Promote Sky Lounge events and nightlife experiences through personal outreach and social media when required
Requirements
Previous restaurant, bar, nightclub, or hospitality experience is an asset
Strong work ethic and ability to move quickly in a high volume environment
Comfortable working late nights in a nightlife setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to stay organized and attentive in a loud, busy environment
Comfortable engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Social media presence is an asset
Ability to lift and carry bottles, buckets, ice, and other service items safely
Must be of legal working age and eligible to work in Ontario
