Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to lead the migration of enterprise process documentation from IBM Blueworks Live to Lucidchart. This role will be responsible for analyzing existing process models, ensuring BPMN accuracy, redesigning and standardizing diagrams in Lucidchart, and collaborating with business stakeholders to validate migrated content. The ideal candidate combines deep BPM expertise with hands-on diagramming skills and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Required Qualifications/Experience:-
• 7+ years of experience in business process analysis or BPM
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Blueworks Live
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Lucidchart or comparable enterprise diagramming tools
• Proven experience delivering large-scale process documentation or migration initiatives
Technical & Functional Skills
• Expert-level knowledge of BPMN 2.0
• Strong understanding of process discovery, modeling, and optimization techniques
• Experience manually transforming or recreating diagrams across tools
• Ability to interpret complex workflows and represent them visually with precision
• Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for migration tracking and reporting
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with Visio, Signavio, ARIS, or other BPM tools
• Exposure to process automation, RPA, or workflow platforms
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
• BPM or process improvement certifications (CBPA, Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN certification)
Deliverables & Success Metrics
• Accurate and validated Lucidchart process diagrams
• Consistent application of BPMN and visual standards
• Timely completion of migration milestones
• Positive stakeholder feedback on clarity and usability of process documentation
Key Responsibilities:-
• Process Migration & Modeling
• Lead end-to-end migration of business process models from IBM Blueworks Live to Lucidchart
• Analyze existing Blueworks processes, including activities, milestones, decisions, roles, and systems
• Recreate and optimize process diagrams in Lucidchart while preserving logical integrity
• Apply BPMN 2.0 standards consistently across all migrated diagrams
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated processes and recommend improvements
Governance & Standardization
• Establish and enforce diagramming standards, naming conventions, and visual guidelines
• Ensure process models meet enterprise governance and compliance requirements
• Manage version control and lifecycle of migrated process artifacts
• Maintain a structured Lucidchart repository aligned with organizational taxonomy
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with business process owners, SMEs, and operational teams to validate processes
• Facilitate process walkthroughs and validation workshops
• Translate business requirements into clear, accurate process models
• Act as a subject matter expert for process modeling best practices
Leadership & Mentorship
• Provide guidance and quality review for junior analysts or contractors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for process migration-related questions
• Support change management and adoption of Lucidchart across teams
