What you’ll do
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for appraising & underwriting Loan proposals (Home Loan & LAP) as per the policies.
Conduct personal discussion (PD) with customers to establish creditworthiness and ensure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification- telephonic, field & collateral visits.
Location & site visits whenever required and evaluate the quality and adherence to the policy norms.
Monitoring and periodic review of portfolio & supervising the overall Risk & Credit checks/controls.
Monitor collections and recoveries of repayments against loans.
Review and approve credit proposals given the discretionary authority and escalate others to those with the appropriate approval authority while ensuring compliance with the company's policy
Monitor and review the performance of the credit portfolio on a regular basis, providing recommendations for adjustment where necessary.
Recommend process changes in order to improve efficiency and quality.
To have a sound knowledge of the market in terms of risks associated with the product and prevalent market practices in the area of operation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Any Graduate with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Credit of HL & LAP products.
Should be good at product knowledge.
Must have knowledge of local areas and local language.
The candidate must be flexible in visiting sites and locations.
Sound knowledge of policies/lending frameworks followed for this product.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
