Responsibilities
Overall Management of all operational departments (Imports / Exports / Cross Trades). This is to include regular meetings and discussions with department Managers in respect of any issues that require guidance from Senior Management.
• Provide the branch operation's team with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, and revenue enhancement, human resources, standardizing procedures, systems applications, and executing processes to meet customer needs.
• Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of staff members to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met; and succession plans in place for all key regional positions.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Developing customer relationships and ensuring that customer service and operational levels are being maintained.
• Develop and execute business strategies, plans, and programs to meet anticipated organizational needs in the areas of functional responsibility to achieve long-term goals.
• Review and evaluate the branch/region's P & L performance and establish short term goals to address and correct any budgetary shortfalls.
• Business development, sales & communicating with customers on regular basis and meeting them personally to understand their exact shipping requirements with optimise the execution.
• Developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency.

• Strong understanding of business & customs related laws and statutes.
Qualifications
• Candidates should have a work experience of 10 to 20 years in relevant Branch Management in Freight & Logistics domain
• MBA or bachelor’s degree is preferred
