· Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Retail Branch Banking and as aBranch Manager / Head position
· Experience of working in a Co-Operative Bank would be an added advantage.
· MUST have handled a mid-sized team
Job Description / Responsibilities:
01.) Overall responsible for the Branch performance – managing day to day affairs of the branch including front end business development (including 3rd party products), back end operations and all product offerings (i.e. mobilizing deposits and Retail loans & advances). This includes delivering budgeted profits, achieving targeted asset level, building a robust pipeline of proposals, arresting asset quality slippages and achieving budgeted fee based revenues etc.
02.) Strategizing and executing product focused campaigns – for CASA, FDs, Gold Loans, Housing Loans, Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans, Working capital limits to traders/ shopkeepers, SHGs and other special schemes of the Bank-thereby building up quality credit portfolio for sustainable profitability (Retail & SME) and achieving generation of targeted revenue / profits.
03.) Responsible for vigilance, inspection, audit and compliance at branch.
04.) Responsible for credit management at branch level – prompt and effective follow up on recoveries from NPAs.
05.) Ensuring proficiency in delivery of high standard and quality customer experience and elevating customer satisfaction and maintaining customer oriented work culture in the branch.
06.) Attending to queries / clarifications of internal and statutory auditors and inspection and compliance.
07.) Responsible for Cost Management and Optimization at branch level.
08.) Initiate action of Recovery on the loans defaulted by the borrowers.
