Chennai CPU Branch Operations handles processing of Payments and Trade transactions along with Regulatory Reporting, Tax Reporting, Financial Reconciliation and Credit Operations. Head of Operation for Chennai Branch and CPU is a critical role to oversee the client delivery, regulatory requirements and collaborate with Technology for innovation initiatives. Key business partners include Heads of GTS sales and Product, Technology, Senior Corporate Bankers and Wholesale Credit, Country Compliance and Audit.
The profile is an advocate and coordinator of the end-to-end business process and is responsible for the execution of Trade and payment activities for Corporate, Financial, and Commercial Banking clients. The functions managed have a high monetary exposure and risk involving the processing of large dollar volume and the candidate must adhere to complex regulatory restrictions across the country. Proven experience in leadership, decision making, coaching, and workflow management is essential to the role.
The role requires management of a large diverse Team.
What you will do
• Responsible for managing timely and accurate execution of transactions relating to Trade, Payments, Clearing, Cash Management and Deposits.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory reporting requirements and timely reporting to Tax and Finance teams.

• Work on the Business Continuity Planning for the Central Processing Unit
