The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, lead from the front or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
Objectives of this Role
• The profile is responsible for Fresh Client Acquisition for the South region
• Handling P&L, Admin, Sales and Operations
• Looking sales across region, Handling key account
• Proactive track and trace shipments to provide exceptional on-time and service percentage
• Knowledge of entire Export & Import (Ocean / Air) operation
• Generate leads, and build and nurture existing client relationships
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Create and execute a strategic sales and operations plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
• Responsible for execution of entire Export & Import (Ocean / Air) Shipments Life Cycle
• Pre Alerts; documentation, customs clearance and prompt delivery and billing
• Utilize consolidation tools
• Material Handling for clients : Involvement in cargo palletization and dispatch
• Perform other duties assigned by HOD
• Get all required documents attested from the relevant authorities / ministries / chamber of Commerce
• Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
• Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
• Set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfil them
• Oversee the sales and Operations team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
