Job Title: Branch Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad
Salary: Rs. 50000 PM to Rs. 100000 PM
Experience Required: 8–15 Years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end branch operations including air, sea, and land freight services
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Lead, mentor, and manage branch staff across sales, operations, and customer service
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shipping lines, airlines, and vendors
Ensure timely and efficient handling of shipments, documentation, and customs clearance
Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and analyze performance metrics
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies
Handle escalations, resolve customer issues, and maintain high service standards
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
Control branch expenses and optimize operational efficiency
Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation
Proven track record in sales and operations management
Leadership and team management
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Business development and client relationship management
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Knowledge of freight systems and ERP software
Financial and analytical skills
