Ferguson is currently seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Maspeth, New York Waterworks branch operations! This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong operational and financial competence.
Position Details:
Reports to the Market Branch Manager
Direct oversight of 5 to * associates
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily branch operations including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and customer service excellence.
Train, mentor, and manage warehouse and customer service staff to ensure high performance and team cohesion.
Step in to perform operational tasks such as shipping, receiving, and customer service when needed.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and capital planning to meet financial goals.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to drive business success.
Analyze performance metrics to find opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Handle all aspects of personnel management including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in branch or operations management, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
Financial literacy with experience managing budgets and P&L statements.

Pay Range:
$6,091.67 - $9,733.34
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
