Key responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and manage budget allocations.
• Monitor the market and maintain updated customer intelligence.
• Prioritize target customers and focus sales efforts on growth opportunities.
• Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
• Maintain and grow a designated book of business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Ensure 100% CRM adoption and maintain a sales pipeline aligned with budget goals.
• Acquire new customers as per agreed targets.
• Develop a deep understanding of critical customers’ businesses to enhance retention.
• Coordinate with Pricing and Operations teams to address opportunities and challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Freight Forwarding services, including Air and Sea.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Conduct regular client meetings to promote services and resolve concerns.
• Network with internal business units to share information and identify new opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback for management.
Qualifications & Competencies
• Proven success in Freight Forwarding Sales.
• Ability to analyze market trends and craft effective sales strategies.
• 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree or MBA.
• Strong skills in sales, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
• Excellent interpersonal, commercial, and communication skills for managing profitable relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and a team player.
• Proficient in writing, presenting, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Fluent in English, Hindi, and the respective regional language, both spoken and written.
• Regular travel within the assigned region is required.
• Proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
