Position overview: • Designation: Branch Sales Manager • Department: HDFC Bank Branch Banking • Location: Across Mumbai Role Summary: • To manage HNI sales and business objective of the selected category branches, meeting or exceeding key targets • To ensure achievement of sales targets with optimal market coverage • Benchmark competition objectives and identify whitespaces, in order to increase wallet share • To effectively lead and manage sales team by providing them with ongoing coaching • To ensure that the sales behavior, sales ethics and sales practices of the sales team comply with company standards and regulations • To closely work with the branch level partner’s stakeholders and internal hierarchy design sales strategies and initiatives that will cause improvement of sales performance. Key Result Areas: Achieve ANP targets through assigned branches: · Orient direct reportees to achieve pre-set business targets on ANP/ EP, case count, active branch, active sales staff and various KPIs for designated branch · Develop joint business and implementation plans with branch manager · Interact regularly with Sales/ operations team to set targets & achieve required sales · Initial grooming of the CAMs/ BOs in presentation & selling skills · Make joint calls with sales team · Accompany the sales team on calls with high-ticket clients · Build up and maintain solid relationship and rapport with partner’s branch managers and LGs Training of the sales team · Provide on-going training to partner’s staff, including products, sales technique, prospecting, objection handling and sales operation and process etc. · To train the CAMs/ BOs on Presentation and Selling Skills Monitor sales & provide support · Analyze the productivity of Sales / operation team to ensure they are delivering as per expectations · Ensure that the high performers are suitably rewarded & kept motivated · Counsel the low performers to assess the reasons for low productivity · Accompany the low performers on calls & give them special attention to motivate them · Organize trainings for low performers to ensure they are conceptually strong · Maintain and observe Company’s internal control and standards · Implement and observe the Company’s Compliance Policy · Act as an escalation point for issues pertaining to policy issuance MIS & Reporting · Design and circulate business MIS and reports to various stakeholder as required · Analyze data cuts on Business Performance and share the findings with the supervisors Skills Required: • Understanding of UI/UX design principles to be used for designing the website and digital products • Deep understanding of technical aspects of website such as HTML, CSS as well as the SEO (meta tags, redirects etc) • Deep understanding of different digital marketing activities and tools • Understanding of branding and marketing principles • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges • Hands on experience in using Content Management Systems, preferably AEM. Or, other CMS such as Wordpress • Hands-on experience on analytics tools including but not limited to Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics • Excellent communication skills. Must be able to articulate a good communication brief and evaluate creative content in line with the given brief • Knowledge and understanding of the BFSI industry will be good but not mandatory • Basic Computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, word etc.) • Good presentation skills – both in making decks as well as presenting thoughts and ideas Qualification: Graduate Mandatory Experience: 4 – 6 years Sales Experience (Insurance / Financial Service Background
