Web Designer
We are seeking an experienced Web Designer to join our corporate division. This exciting opportunity involves creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that captivate and engage visitors.
The successful candidate will focus on crafting exceptional web experiences, ensuring our online presence aligns with brand and strategic goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand website objectives, target audience, and business requirements.
• Conceptualise and create visually appealing and intuitive website designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Maintain and enhance the overall look and feel of our online presence, ensuring brand consistency.
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to convey design concepts and gather feedback.
• Stay updated on web design trends and best practices to continually improve the quality of our web assets.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of web designs.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to make data-driven design decisions.
• Monitor website performance and user engagement, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
• Work with content creators and marketing teams to optimise web content for user engagement and SEO.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders for review and approval.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a design-related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6-10 years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio of web projects.
• Strong proficiency in web design principles, user interface (UI) design, and user experience (UX) design.
• Demonstrated experience in creating user-friendly and responsive web designs.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and web design best practices.
• Familiarity with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Ability to implement animations and micro-interactions.
• Familiarity with corporate and B2B web design.
Soft Skills:
• Ability to communicate design concepts and rationales clearly.
• Proven ability to solve design-related problems with attention to detail.
• Capacity to independently think and analyse design challenges.
• Ability to adjust design strategies based on evolving project requirements.
• Experience in proactive teamwork and commitment to delivering quality results.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year
