About the role:
12- Month Fixed Term Opportunity
We are on the lookout for an experienced Brand Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. This Brand Manager role plays a key part in our Marketing team and is responsible for driving new product development (NPD), brand marketing and communications, and trade activations. In this role you will focus on executing product marketing strategies that align with our brand's values and sustainability goals. You will work cross-functionally with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to bring new products to market and activate campaigns that drive consumer engagement and trade partnerships. This is a rare and dynamic opportunity for an individual with 2-3 years of experience in brand management, marketing, and trade activation to lead impactful initiatives and support Ceres Organics mission.
Some of the key responsibilities in this role include:
New Product Development (NPD) & Brand Strategy: Drive the development and launch of new products, working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Compliance) to bring innovative products to market. Ensure all new products align with our brand's purpose, values, and sustainability goals.
Trade Activation & Marketing: Execute trade marketing plans to support retail partnerships, drive in-store visibility, and promote product adoption. Collaborate with the Sales team to align trade marketing initiatives with retailer objectives.
Brand Communications & Digital Marketing: Support the development of marketing campaigns that reinforce the brand's values, sustainability efforts, and product offerings. Ensure brand messaging and visuals are consistent across all touchpoints (retail, digital, social).
Market Research & Consumer Insights: Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team to gather and analyse market data, trends, and consumer behaviour insights. Use data to gain deep insights into consumer needs and preferences to develop innovative products that resonate with target audience.
Brand Positioning & Product Marketing: Support the brand's long-term positioning strategy and ensure that marketing initiatives align with the overall business objectives. Execute marketing campaigns that effectively position new products in the market.
To be successful for this role, you will have the following:
2-3 years of experience in brand management, product and trade marketing.
Proven experience in new product development (NPD) and working cross-functionally
to bring products to market.
Strong understanding of trade activation & marketing, and consumer behaviour.
Knowledge of digital and social marketing platforms and experience executing campaigns
across digital and social channels.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills.
A passion for sustainability, organic products, and purpose-driven branding is preferred.
