We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and a dedication to creating visually stunning and delectable dishes. This role requires collaboration with our culinary team to develop and execute menu items that align with our café’s upscale image and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Presentation and Plating: Artfully plate dishes to enhance visual appeal, adhering to the café’s aesthetic guidelines and elevating the overall dining experience.

Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and contemporary culinary trends. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, conducting regular tastings and assessments.

Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, complying with all health and safety regulations. Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and communicating supply needs to the kitchen management team.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
