Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team, working in the surgical department to support patients undergoing breast reconstruction surgery. This is a fixed term position, covering maternity leave, but may be extended to cover other service requirements.
About the Role:
Support patients undergoing breast reconstruction surgery, working closely with plastic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate records and data on patient outcomes and treatment plans
Develop and implement practice development and quality improvement strategies to enhance patient care
Collaborate with GPs and district nursing teams to provide advice and support when caring for patients in the community
Requirements:
Expert level clinical knowledge and experience in maxillofacial, burns, and plastic surgery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Proficient in using databases and excel spreadsheets
