We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Brewery Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Planned Maintenance team at DB Breweries’ iconic Waitematā Brewery in Auckland. This is a Day-shift role, supporting the safe and efficient upkeep of our brewery equipment. You’ll be a key part of our maintenance team, helping to keep our machinery in top shape so we can keep delivering the high-quality products Kiwis love.
What you’ll do:
Carry out planned maintenance safely and on time
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
Support continuous improvement and lean maintenance practices (TPM, AM, CILT)
Work closely with operators, planners and technicians
Help maintain high quality, food safety, and legal compliance standards
What we’re looking for:
Mechanical Trade Certificate or NZCE (Mechanical) (Fitter & Turner preferred).
5+ years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, or FMCG.
Great troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge.
Experience with TPM, CILT, and lean practices a plus.
A safety-first mindset and can-do attitude.
Strong team player with a proactive, safety-first approach.
Willingness to join the On-Call roster (Weekends and public holidays).
Willingness to work Weekends or different shifts from time to time (when required to complete critical maintenance activities.
Willingness to support the Shift-Operational Maintenance team when required.
