About the Role:
The successful Bricklayer will be required to lay bricks with precision autonomously or with a team. You will be required to work seamlessly within a team environment utilising your personal skills, as well as the ability to follow and comply with company Policies and Procedures. Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings is required.
Duties:
Analyzing and interpreting building plans.
Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.
Measuring distance from reference points.
Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.
Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level.
Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,515.00 – $96,515.00 per year
