As a wedding dress designer, you would need to keep up on current and traditional designs, understand how to select colours and materials, and have good interpersonal skills. Wedding dress designers must possess certain skills to succeed in their craft. These include having an aesthetic eye, drawing, sewing and pattern-making skills, creativity, and communication skills.
