Job Introduction
New Vision Bradford was launched on 1 April 2026. This is a partnership between the Bridge Project, Project 6 and Waythrough. Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford and Craven District, aiming to help people tackle the misuse of ******* and drugs and reduce risk taking behaviours through dedicated prevention, intervention, and support.
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a full-time, permanent, Team Leader for the Treatment Team, as part of New Vision Bradford adult substance misuse service.
This is a key role, and we are looking for leadership and a positive role model for front line staff within this busy multi-disciplinary adult substance misuse service. You will be educated to diploma/degree level or have a minimum of 4 years’ equivalent direct experience in substance misuse treatment/health and social care delivery.
The postholder will manage staff who are primarily focussed on providing support for drug and ******* misuse; therefore, it is important that you have experience of supporting others to develop through mentoring, coaching and supervision. You will have experience of culture and change management, staff engagement and service improvement, coupled with knowledge and experience of delivering services to high performance and quality standards, monitoring and proactively responding to contract compliance.
We are looking for someone who is committed and passionate in this field of work and what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to continually improve and innovate services. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, creating an ambitious service user focussed culture and developing a diverse team of staff working across a number of programme delivery strands.
There is an element of flexibility around working hours required by the postholder. A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check is also a requirement of the post.
