Job Description
As an OSS/BSS developer, your role is to design, develop, and maintain OSS (Operations Support
Systems) and BSS (Business Support Systems) software applications for telecommunications companies.
At least 5 years of experience – development of telecom applications, OSS/ BSS preferably in
Cloud environment
Good understanding of 5G domain, Experience in Cloud technologies/ Service based
architecture
Closely work with Solution Architects to understand requirements
Development of PoC
Development of Solutions Demo Liaison with HCL Software Classic Product Teams to understand
Product functions & features, configuration and deployment while developing solution PoCs
OSS/BSS systems are critical components of a telecom network, responsible for managing
various aspects of the network, such as provisioning, inventory management, fault
management, performance management, and billing. These systems enable telecom operators
to provide high-quality services to their customers while keeping operational costs under
control.
As an OSS/BSS developer, you will need to have a strong understanding of telecom network
technologies, such as MPLS, IP, and SDN. You will also need to be proficient in programming
languages such as Java, C++, Python, and SQL, as well as web development technologies such as
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
