Job Description for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & BTP - Side by Side Dev Senior Consultant Role ( 5+ Years)
Experience: 5+ years of full-time experience in SAP technologies (SAP ABAP, HANA ABAP etc.), out of which minimum experience of 1 project in SAP BTP & JAVA, JavaScript , Angular JS.
Job Description:
• Business Process / Functional knowledge:
• General business process knowledge in SD & MM.
• Integration knowledge with S/4HANA using SAP BTP
Responsibilities (Skills)
Mandatory:
• Clear understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and available platform services. Knowledge of how to connect BTP to S/4HANA using Cloud Connector is required.
• Programming experience in Cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry.
• Good understanding of Spring, Git and GitHub, abapGit, Jenkins, JavaScript, NodeJS, REST, SOAP, ODATA, SAP HANA, HTML5/RESTHands on experience in CAPM (using NodeJS) and exposure to CAP annotations.
• Programming languages and techniques – JAVA, NodeJS Python or C++ with solid knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in In-App extension techniques
• Hands-on experience of SAP BTP - API management for end to end lifecycle from build, mask, publish and monetize of an API. Experience to build API specification for developer portal with OpenAPI specification model.
• Knowledge
• Extend solutions with additional SAP BTP capabilities for mobile, offline and integration.
• Proven skills in building scalable web applications/cloud services using cutting edge web technologies (REST, OData, jQuery, Server-side JS).
• Knowledge of SAP systems functionality and SAP Fiori UX principles is a plus.
