Overview
We are passionate about providing a high-quality service in all areas of our building projects. From initial concept plans to final code of compliance. Incorporating highly motivated team members, where the overall quality and pride in the job are the key factors to providing this service.
Our services currently focus on the following areas:
Residential new builds
Architectural custom homes/projects
Renovations and Extensions
Our mission is to only undertake major residential projects and architectural custom homes as well as some minor residential kitchen and bathroom projects and to be the go to company for those markets. By doing this we will be expanding our business, up skilling our staff and providing a pathway to future success for the company, employees and contractors.
Position Overview
Position Status: Carpenter
Reporting Relationships: Site Foreman or Director
Expected hours of work: Standard Hours are a minimum Monday – Friday (7:30 – 4:30) However the nature of this position may require time outside of standard hours
Expected Contract Rate: Negotiable. Dependent upon demonstrated ability and previous experience However our general range would be $35 - $45p/h on a Contracting basis only. For the right person who hits the right milestones and key performance standards there are bonus opportunities and salary increase available.
Role
To be able to undertake any building task given to him by the foreman in a positive, efficient and productive manner with pride in workmanship and quality
Responsibilities
The focus of this position consists of the following areas:
Turn up to work at the correct time
If you need time off, then you must give the foreman a minimum one week’s notice to assist with site planning
If you are sick, contact the foreman before 7 00am
Carry out all work as instructed by the Foreman
Have your own basic set of tools and work towards acquiring more tools
Ensure that your tools are well maintained and kept in good working order
If any site equipment is broken notify the site foreman immediately
Timesheets filled daily
Make sure that the site is safe at all times
It is expected that you will endeavor to abide by the Code of Conduct by Peaky Builders Ltd
Strive towards always producing high quality work in appropriate time frames
Have fun, crank the sounds, and enjoy and be proud of what you achieve in your working day
