Job Description
ALH Recruitment are looking for carpenters who have experience in framing, pre-nail framing and finishing work. Working across Christchurch, our client has several long-term projects, large and small scale fit-outs, and are looking for additional staffing to assist on the projects.
The roles that are available will be on-going and full time for the duration of the projects, with potential for long term opportunities with our client.
Previous experience in light commercial and residential.
$31 - $35 per hour wages or contractor rates, dependant on experience.
Role Responsibilities can include:
Finishing and detailed finishing
Timber framing and prenail framing
Aluminum partitioning
Steel Stud Partitioning
Installation of doors and windows

Job requirements:
Full set of carpentry tools needed
Understanding of the NZ building code
Finishing carpentry experience required
Office and Retail fit-out experience - beneficial. Or Residential background.
Ability to pass pre-employment Drug test
