Job Overview: The Bus Driver (Mini Bus Driver) at Flexi Public Transport Limited is responsible for driving passengers to their requested destinations in Auckland. They must ensure the comfort and safety of their passengers while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, knowledge of Auckland's roads and landmarks, and exceptional customer service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a minibus vehicle in compliance with relevant traffic and safety regulations
Pick up passengers from various locations throughout Auckland and transport them to their desired destinations
Assist passengers with loading and unloading their luggage or belongings as necessary
Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times, both on the inside and outside
Ensure the minibus meter is always functioning correctly and accurately calculate fares for passengers
Respond to passenger inquiries and provide recommendations or information regarding popular attractions, restaurants, or other points of interest as requested
Keep up-to-date on traffic conditions and utilize GPS or navigation systems to determine the best and most efficient routes to reach destinations
Follow company policies and procedures, including proper maintenance and care of the vehicle
Adhere to a predetermined schedule or work shifts, promptly reporting any delays or issues to the appropriate supervisor
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards passengers, providing excellent customer service at all times
