Qualifications
No personal calls allowed on bus phone
Education: High School or equivalent
Must have a current Massachusetts driver’s license CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement and in good standing
Previous Experience: 1-2 years of related customer service experience
In addition, employee must successfully pass the CORI check as requested by Orchard Cove
Must be able to pass DOT physical exam
Must attend mandatory in-services provided by Orchard Cove and periodic in-services in order to keep your license current

A monthly schedule of bus trips will be distributed at the end of each month
All trips must be covered

In the winter plan to arrive earlier if there has been a snowstorm in order to clean off the bus
Greet and help people both on and off the bus
For shopping trips, please assist members with packages
Record on daily sheet starting and ending mileage, starting and ending times and your initials
Please use phone only when necessary and never while driving
Turn in daily schedule to Transportation Coordinator at the end of each shift
Due to the nature of scheduling, you must give a least a 2 week notice for vacation time
