The Business Administrator is accountable for providing high level administrative, customer service and operational support to the Business Area.
This role will focus on providing a high level of administrative advice, professional support and service as well as responsibilities for any allocated specific activities and projects.
The incumbent is a key and active participant of the Plumbing & Safety Services team and provides expertise in relation to key administrative functions, in particular document production, enrolment and customer service support and management and monitoring internal compliance and procedures.
As a Business ADministrator, your key responsibilities include:
Provide multi-faceted senior administrative support to the Leadership Team and relevant staff of the business area, and ensure the effective and efficient management of administrative processes.
Undertake Short Course administration, including class pack preparation, room and teacher confirmation and associated activities for completion required to awards and certification
Prepare a range of regular and adhoc reports, documentation, papers and submissions
Coordinate meeting support including room booking, preparation, minutes, agendas and document dissemination.
Support Business Area Manager in Talent Management through effective support of staff Recruitment, On-boarding and Performance Management.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills qualifications and experience in:
Proven experience in providing high level administrative support in a complex and demanding working environment
A strong client focus, with demonstrated experience in building client relationships and ability to provide excellent telephone, face-to-face and email advice and support to a diverse range of people
Confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way whilst understanding and meeting the needs of target audiences.
Significant experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to use various software suites and databases
Experience in providing service excellence to all internal colleagues and external clients
Proven success in process improvement, utilising creativity and internal networking to see projects through to delivery
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
