Role Description
This role is in the team responsible for the planning & performance management of our Wealth Management (WM) franchise in the Americas. This role reports to the Head of Performance Management, WM Americas, who reports to the COO WM Americas. This team plays an essential role in actively developing the future trajectory of the business together with the strategy group, establishing actionable targets across critical areas of responsibilities (market/product heads / sales teams), monitoring delivery against targets, as well as providing thought leadership to develop new opportunities / strategic mitigation measures together with the Head of the business / COO. This team will also include active pipeline and activity management as well as offer new opportunities to enhance the responsibility on performance related topics. The role also includes interesting responsibilities to ensure that relevant information is provided in an efficient and modern way, leveraging existing and new elements of technology.
This role is part of a desk extension team and reports into the IPB Americas Performance Management/COO team in New York; while having a local reporting line in Mumbai.

Your Key Responsibilities: (not limited to)
Essential Job Functions:
• Fully support the activities of the onshore team, including any ad-hoc tasks as required
• Assist in the preparation and submission of the Americas RM Flows report
• On a monthly/weekly basis, prepare and submit a Tableau based dashboard regarding the Business pipeline deals across Revenues, Flows & Assets
• Support various Annual Planning rounds spanning across activities such as upload planning figures in the system, maintenance of plan numbers during the year, adjustment of planning scenarios and alignment with the global planning team.
• Monthly preparation of Cost and FTE Forecast documents: Coordination, review financials & uploads into the relevant systems
• Cost Deep dives and providing the Cost Review file for ExCo / Monthly Review Meetings
• Exercise oversight over the monthly RM/IM/MRM performance numbers and dashboards, submitted to senior management for their consumption.
• Support / run specific Performance Management related projects (e.g., PULSE BI, new KPI steering approach, PPD etc.)
Your Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
• Multi-year background in Finance, Business Management / Development
• Experience in wealth management, investment banking, consulting, strategy, change management or business development in the financial services industry
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to independently develop and manage complex models
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to support preparation of presentations for a senior audience
• Strong people management/development skills
• Resourceful, resilient along with proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and effectively engage in discussions with senior management
