Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and maintain documentation such as business process flows, use cases, and user stories
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and drive decision-making
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve business processes
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide support during system implementation
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users
Requirements:
4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst conducting requirements analysis including file layout specifications.
Experience documenting and executing test protocols including building test data files
3 years of experience with each of the following: Traceability Matrix Documentation, Use Case Diagrams, GAP analysis, writing test cases, business requirements documentation.
At least 2 years of experience facilitating design sessions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis tools
Ability to work 2 to 3 days a week at the project site in Sacramento
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of 820 and 834 X12 EDI files and formats
Public sector healthcare experience is a huge plus
Experience using Atlassian Jira
Valid International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Valid Project Management Institute Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification
Analytical and problem-solving aptitude along with being able to research policy documentation to infer potential requirements.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field (relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted in lieu of the required degree)
