The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiative, part of the company digital transformation program is now reaching a first production maturity level.
The evolution of the solution foreseen in the coming years now require further team extension in several domains especially in the area of Engineering side of PLM workstreams leading to the definition of the business requirements, identification & validation the corresponding solutions.
The ST solution is based on Dassault Systèmes 3DeXperience PLM Software. The way of working and delivery implements agile methodology with ambition of continuous integration and continuous delivery in 2026 & next years.
In this context, Digital Transformation & IT department is looking for a Business Analyst.
Addressed functional domain: Engineer Domain (IP / Techno / Defect)
- The Business Analyst of Engineering Domain will be the main interlocutor of Business Product Owner to translate business needs in functional specifications and main interlocutor with development teams for deliveries.
- The Business Analyst will be asked in her/his functional domain to interact with various cross-functional workstreams involving several organizations (such as Product Groups, ST groups etc..).
- The role requires to interface regularly with PLM Solution, Service and Factory teams, as well as with PLM Business Product Owner and Transformation teams
Business Analyst role will be to:
· Translate business needs in functional specifications
· Describe requests in detailed specifications for development teams
· Provide test scenario with support of business
· Validate deliveries with support of business and ensure expected value
Experience Range : 6-10 Years
Qualification : BTech/MCA (70% & above)
Required Skillset :
• Detailed Understanding of R&D (Engineering) world ( IP, Techno, Chip, DP, PDK, DRM, etc..)
• Mandatory functional knowledge on the Product development and Change flow for IP, Techno and Chip
• Understanding on change and qualification process due to change and Defects
• Understanding of Defect management, including Dispositioning and Errata Management
• Advance knowledge of Legacy tools (UPT+, LYS, IPOL etc..) managing IP / Chip and Interfaces with CAD systems like Project Sync etc.
• People Skill with ability to engage with stakeholders: Multi-sites large scale remote teams interaction
• Knowledge of proper Requirement Management and Development, Such as process / functional requirements definition method, use case development, Process flow Diagram
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodology
• Must be a Team Player with positive attitude
