Project Description:Focus (Credit F2b Booking)
Focus is an application setup for booking of Credit Derivative trades. The product scope includes flow products (Single Name CDS) and Flex Products (Option Index Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Basket Swaps, and Exotic Trades). The key function of Focus is to Capture trades via Manual Trade Entry, Automatic Imports, and Bulk trade bookings. Additional functionality include Trade Lifecycle Event Management including events such as Terminations, Assignments, Credit Events and Exercise or Options.
Software development is performed in London and Mumbai. The team consists of Software Developers and Business Analysts across both locations.

Position Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Articulation of User needs into clear concise business requirements. The candidate must also be comfortable with Agile practices.
The ability gain an understanding of the underlying business processes. Business Analyst are also expected to take full responsibility for their work up to delivery into the production environment, as well as monitoring some post-release support, including analysing problems or providing the support team with information.
Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities
To consult with all stakeholders to create clear, concise, implementable solutions to business problems.
To work with stakeholders and developers to ensure that requirements are captured and documented in such a way that they are easily consumable by developers.
To work closely with developers to ensure any ambiguities in requirements are resolved.
To work closely with testers to ensure that the appropriate level of testing is completed prior to release of developed functionality.
In each release cycle, to demo newly developed functionality to the appropriate stakeholders during the development lifecycle and before release to production.
To manage business feedback and create development tasks / specifications as appropriate.
To build relationships as necessary to ensure that all necessary input is taken into account during the specification process.
Contributing Responsibilities
To work with the project manager and stakeholders of the project to help develop the scope of the project.
To help manage communication with the business as regards to development schedules, release notes and testing results.
To contribute to the constant enhancement of the development process.
