Job Description
The Corrections and Remediation's Team manages the process to triage, fix, correct, and eliminate customer impact caused by a business process or operational issues. Playing a critical role within Corrections and Remediation's, the Analytics Team is responsible for identifying the impacted customers, calculating financial harm, and supporting the execution of appropriate account adjustments or notifications based on various correction strategies.
This centralized analytics model provides increased career mobility, stronger controls and more opportunities to allow analysts to work across multiple lines of business and acquire knowledge on a variety of financial products. Job Resposibilities
Using SAS & SQL skills, query databases and research to identify correction population and estimate financials for the impacted population.
Ensure analytics steps are accurate through attention to detail and support the independent Validation team with an understanding of case requirements and code.
Automate analytics steps which are repetitive between cases and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Continuously develop skills and upskill to languages like Python etc. and deepen data knowledge to support closure of projects, ensure correct data is being supplied to stakeholders, deliver analytical requirements per the requirements and provide best-in-class analytics.
Collaborate with key stakeholders like Project Managers, Business Analysts etc. across the firm to understand the context of projects including the issue and then use analytic techniques to carry out requirements (which requires translating high-level requirements into steps) and drive meaningful insights from the data.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
2/3 plus years of related experience, Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
Upcoming or recent college graduates will be considered
Prior experience with SAS and another programming language, e.g. Python, R, SQL, Java
Data Wrangling & Interpreting the statistics: Able to query data from multiple sources with considerations for manipulations/aggregation
