Position Purpose
Analyze business & technical requirements with technical resources, recommending fit for purpose solutions to Business Partners and in line with the Amanda application design standards. Participate throughout project life cycle including requirements elicitation, impact analysis, solution design, testing strategy/execution and supporting implementation activities.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Derive solution design and perform regression and non-regression testing
Impact analysis of major changes to ensure compliance to existing architecture and principles of the product
Derive testing startegy and build test scenarios
Ensure solutions are fit for purpose, secure, scalable and cost-effective
High level feasibility and estimates for any anticipated business need
Support and scale up business analysts in the team
Contributing Responsibilities
Participate in the quarterly application upgrades
Production support
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services industry is required
Previous experiences in software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology. Project is currently undergoing full transition into Agile
Prior exposure in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects
Ability to challenge existing designs and suggest alternative directions. Taste for innovation
Specific Qualifications (if required)
At least 5 years of experience as Business Analyst
Solution design, development, testing and bug-fixing
Impact analysis of major changes to ensure compliance to existing architecture and principles of the product
Ensure solutions are fit for purpose, secure, scalable and cost-effective
