Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst and Power BI Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding business problems, as well as designing and delivering data and analytics jobs for clients. Use of technical skills to configure, customize, and provide support directly to clients will be critical for this role. Also necessary is expertise in Microsoft Power BI. As a client-facing technical role, comfort in quickly designing and explaining solutions to clients is key. Candidates need excellent consulting and technical skills and the ability to work with both high level business leaders and technical staff.
Responsibilities
Understand the client existing technical MI and reporting landscape
Understand the business requirements in support of new MI and Reporting requirements
Link into the Data Governance workstream which is already underway and understand how to leverage and build the Data Governance value
Design and implement Microsoft PowerBI new reports to address the agreed client business requirements
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Experience writing and debugging PowerBI
Experience writing and debugging SQL
Experience understanding and designing data models
Talent to write well designed, fully documented, testable, efficient code
Passion to learn quickly and work independently
Ability to code to well understood architectures, frameworks, and design patterns
BS or BA degree
