Job Description
Technology Manager will manage and drive end-to-end credit card technology system and additionally ensure that overall functions including the surround systems operate seamlessly.
Location : Head Office (Kolkata)
Reporting : Application Owner – Credit Card
Responsibilities:
• Managing end to end functioning in coordination with the CMS vendor for all new developments and change requests for upgradations and ensuring to deliver within the agreed timelines.
• Maintaining a tracker of overall project developments including new and change requests and sharing with stakeholders on weekly/monthly basis updating the status.
• Providing period update to the senior management and relevant stakeholders on the system performance of the vendor.
• Understanding of the market and competition in terms of latest technology offerings in the card’s domain.
• Managing critical escalations and resolving these issues with corrective measures within the timelines.
• Driving the credit card management system [CMS] vendor as per the service level agreements [SLAs].
• Liaison with the respective owners of the surround systems for customization/ modification along with seamless functioning of the systems connected with CMS.
• Negotiating in the interest of the Bank and closing the commercials with the vendor on various types of new developments, change requests, regulatory mandates etc.
• Coordination with the vendor for ensuring seamless support on production related cases, database administration, generation of various reports, patch and infra management.
• Maintaining the roaster and the working hours of the vendor resources across the 3 shifts.
• Analyzing the technical and business decline reports and suggesting accurate solutions to improve the system and process.
• Ensuring timely reporting, reconciliation and settlement are processed.
• Liaising with card network partners for technical changes, concerns, or issues.
• Closely working with internal and external auditors ensuring credit card compliance gaps are remediated.
• Ensuring timely and corrective resolutions of all the critical incidents and issues are implemented with proper root cause analysis and the subsequent reports are recorded and timely submitted to the stakeholders of the Bank.
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in the cards management system preferably in the payments industry.
• Must have adequate understanding of card management system from technology perspective and the latest technology offerings.
• Must also have adequate understanding of the process and knowledge about the IT related certifications.
• Must provide oversight into Payment Card Compliance enforcement for third parties that support the organization and its businesses.
• Must have the knowledge of regulations and policies related to technology in the cards industry.
• Collaborate closely with Business and Technology teams to incorporate Payment Card compliance requirements into their strategy and roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience on various project and incident management tools like Jira, Confluence, etc
