Job overview and responsibilities:

The Business Analyst will link our information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of our software product's features' analytical, building, testing, and deployment tasks. The primary goal is to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations by enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing and designing business processes, and performing needs assessments in collaboration with the project team. This role demands an understanding of both the business and the technology to facilitate communication and enable the design of solutions that meet and exceed our business needs.

· Collaborate with Business partners, Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps and other stake holders to ensure deliverables are on time and meet expectations

· Translates high level requirements into detailed level user stories to be consumed by the development pods in each sprint, while ensuring stories and features are added iteratively to add overall value

· Responsible for supporting Application Development teams on managing healthy backlog of work items - writing, refining and prioritizing user stories and leading the delivery efforts.

· Understand complex data structures, familiar with SQL queries and be able to analyze the impact of new requirements on data and applications

· Work with Quality engineers to make sure the user stories and features are well tested and quality of the deliverables are maintained throughout the development life cycle

· Provide timely status updates to PM/Scrum Master on the health of the project, identify risks and remediation steps

· Facilitates meetings and presentations to ensure alignment on project scope, requirements, and impact analysis findings

· Drives knowledge base initiatives such Training programs, as documentation of knowledge articles and end user training

· Drives efforts for production incident identification, workaround, and remediation

· Data Analysis and Reporting:

· Gather and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support decision-making

· Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor business performance

· Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and external partners to align on business goals and initiatives

· Prepare and deliver presentations that summarize findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively

· Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Proactively seek out opportunities for process optimization and innovation within the business

· Implement best practices and stay abreast of industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

· Bachelor's degree

· 3+ years of related experience or successful completion of United DT Early Career Digital Leadership Program (ECDLP)

· Hands-on experience in Jira/Microsoft ADO

· Strong Analytical, problem-solving, listening, written and verbal communication and decision-making skills

· Well versed with Data structures, Data models and able to perform SQL queries

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization

· Ability to work independently and with others to solutioning complex business issues

· Must be a team focused individual

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

· Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

· Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

· Master's degree

· Agile/Scrum experience/certification

· Knowledge of airline Pricing systems

· Experience in delivering large complex enterprise level applications

· Familiarity with application development practices in Cloud environment

· Desire to dedicate time and energy to accomplish goals, tasks, assignments, doing what it takes to get things done

The base pay range for this role is $89,965.00 to $117,212.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
