Job Title: Business Analyst (Max-Term Contract - 12 months)

Purpose of the Role
An established consumer lending fintech business is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Business Analyst to join their Product and Delivery team.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of lending products and platform initiatives by translating business needs into clear, structured requirements.
You will work across the full delivery lifecycle: from discovery and documentation through to testing and UAT, ensuring solutions are well-defined, validated, and aligned to business outcomes. This role operates within a vendor-led delivery environment and requires strong coordination, documentation, and hands-on validation of platform functionality.
Key Accountabilities
Requirements & Analysis
· Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows
· Translate business and product initiatives into clear, structured requirements and delivery artefacts
· Facilitate requirements discussions with stakeholders and vendors to ensure clarity and alignment
Delivery Support
· Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and track delivery progress
· Support delivery execution and maintain visibility across milestones and outcomes
· Maintain structured documentation to support governance and delivery transparency
Testing & UAT
· Define and document test scenarios and test cases
· Support testing and UAT to validate delivered functionality
· Perform hands-on validation of platform functionality, including execution of test cases and verification of configurations
· Ensure delivered solutions meet documented business and functional requirements
Stakeholder Engagement
· Collaborate with stakeholders across product, operations, risk, and compliance
· Support vendor workshops and requirements walkthrough sessions
· Communicate updates, clarify requirements, and support issue resolution
Capabilities & Attributes
· Strong understanding of lending products and operational processes
· Highly analytical with the ability to structure complex requirements clearly
· Delivery-focused with ownership of requirements through to implementation
· Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
· Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
· Proactive with a strong sense of accountability
Experience & Qualifications
· Experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or fintech environments
· Exposure to lending products (consumer lending preferred)
· Understanding of lending operations and credit risk environments
· Experience working with loan origination systems or lending platforms
· Comfortable operating in vendor-led delivery environments
· Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related discipline (preferred)
