Job Summary
We are looking at on boarding Business Analyst who has in-depth knowledge of banking/ finance domain with hands-on experience in creating BRD’s & manage the entire product lifecycle
Duties and
Responsibilities
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems & products
Performing requirements analysis and conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Designing and developing Product Workflows, implementing user stories, performing ERP API integrations, UAT and delivering product using Agile scrum methodology
Engage with various internal/external stake holders such as client, technology team, product managers, operations and testing team & ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
Provides overall direction & manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning , product enhancements , product development and go-to-market strategy
Gain a deep understanding of the customer, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, and drive growth
Identifies product market opportunities through market research, customer profiling, needs analysis, market sizing and competitive analysis
Translates product strategy into recommendations and feature definition to address market opportunities
Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify intent of change is carried out through the entire project
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects;
Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Required Skills / Abilities
Experience on USA market specific processing, clearing and settlement of international wires, electronic funds transfers, direct debits, Virtual Accounts and Escrow Management
In-depth end-to-end processing knowledge of at least 3 of the following areas of Corporate Banking
Receivables and Collections
International Payments
Virtual accounts and Escrow Management
Channel banking (internet, mobile, API, Host-to-Host)
Liquidity Management & Limit Management
Sound knowledge of international standards like SWIFT and ISO
20022 is must
Gathering functional requirements including preparation of functional specification documents (FSD/FRD), user stories and requirement traceability
Change / defect management experience which includes root-cause analysis, proposed solution and related documentation
Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.
Substantial client interaction and direct participation in client requirement gathering, elicitation and functional solution design.
Ability to engage with various internal/external stake holders such as IT business analysts, product managers, operations and testing.
Proficient in creation of flowcharts/UML diagrams
Exposure to core banking, basic knowledge of RDBMS (SQL queries) is preferred
