Role Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive expertise in the Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with policy and claims management systems, a deep understanding of underwriting (UW) and claims processes, and exposure to product lifecycle management and application migration.
Key Responsibilities:
• In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance, including policy and claims management systems.
• Strong understanding of underwriting and claims processes.
• Experience in product lifecycle management and application migration is a plus.
• Proficient in analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Familiarity with insurance business processes and the related application landscape.
• Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Competence in documenting requirements through BRDs, use cases, user stories, etc.
• Functional testing experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Must-Have Skill Set:
• Experience in underwriting and claims in one or more regions: US, Europe, Caribbean, Australia, or the Middle East.
• Expertise in Property Commercial Line of Business (LOB).
• Hands-on experience with core insurance products, particularly in policy and claims administration.
• Proven experience leading requirement gathering and solution design for insurance projects.
• Strong understanding of core insurance business processes.
Good-to-Have Skill Set:
• Experience in Cash Profit analysis.
• Familiarity with the Caribbean insurance market.
• Knowledge of Reinsurance processes.
