Your role
Are you eager to help FA’s clients understand and meet their financial objectives? Do you have an interest in asset allocation and portfolio construction? We’re looking for someone like that who can help us:
Work in support of portfolio strategist to deliver customized portfolio construction to financial advisors and their ultra-high net worth clients/prospects
conduct portfolio analysis at the asset allocation and investment level
produce bespoke presentations that outline our research, capabilities and views on asset allocation, portfolio construction and product fulfillment
analyze, synthesize and provide insights to product managers
build cohesive materials like business presentations and reports
construct business metric reports
support project management tasks
provide documentation of processes and business requirements
support advisory programs and investment product business in their daily operations
Your team
You will be a “Portfolio Specialist” in the Portfolio Advisory Group ("PAG"). We provide investment advice by delivering the firm's intellectual capital and capabilities regarding asset allocation, portfolio construction and product/platform fulfillment. We work extensively with financial advisors and ultra-high net worth clients and prospects. This role is based in Mumbai and you will work directly with other Portfolio Specialists, as well as members of the PAG team.
Your expertise
You have:
working knowledge of multi-asset class portfolio construction
minimum 6+ years of experience in financial services industry preferred
a bachelor's degree required, higher degree preferred
a wide degree of business / product knowledge, technology savvy, and people skills
experience working in wealth management, private banks or asset management
strong knowledge of global financial markets
Have working knowledge of portfolio risk and portfolio compliance ( pre trade and post trade compliance) and investment policy guideline.
familiarity working with large databases in multiple systems (i.e. access, excel, sql)
strong communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences
You are:
excellent at organization, prioritization and time management
adept at initiating, nurturing and developing strong interpersonal relationships within the team and across the organization
creative and willing to think outside the box
a team player
